Step 1: Adding the Ice Cream
Our Authorized Dippers load up the Banana Boat with three scoops of your favorite ice cream. We used vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry here but you can use any of our 30 hard or 40 soft flavors.
Step 2: Toppings Galore
You can choose up to three different toppings to load on to the scoops of ice cream. Wet walnuts, chocolate syrup and strawberry are selections pictured here. With over 50 toppings on our menu, there are over 100,000 topping combinations for you to choose from.
Step 3: Adding the Banana
Next we slice the banana down its center and place it on each side of the boat.
Step 4: Finishing Touches
To finish, we add whipped cream and a cherry on top, and voila, the Banana Boat is ready for eating!

Every season, we get the crew together for an appreciation breakfast to say thanks for the tremendous hard work that goes into manning the operation day in and day out. There’s plenty of food, giveaways, and time for a group picture. This year, 27 of the roughly 50 Authorized Dippers we have on staff made it to the main event.

Emma’s work has inspired us to ask kids of all ages to submit creations of yours truly (Skipper Dipper!) for the chance to see the works featured on our Facebook photo gallery and/or in the shop. Place your first name, age (for kids under 18), and hometown on the bottom corner of the work, and drop it off in the shop. We will cherish the works, and unfortunately we cannot guarantee their safe return — whipped cream and sprinkles are delicious but they go everywhere — so let us know if you want them back.
